Hello Everyone! I'm Jamiya! I started doing makeup when I was 14 after struggling with acne and hyperpigmentation. I was obsessed with the makeup community on YouTube and spent most of my free time watching videos on products, skin care and makeup application. After finding techniques that worked best for me, I began to practice on myself and broadcasting my work on social media. It was something I did for fun but also to boost my confidence. Some of my family members really liked my work so they ended paying me to do their makeup, shout out to them!! Posting my work got me attention from other people who loved makeup and that's how I began to take clients.
