By following these steps before your wedding day, you are guaranteed to have that bridal glow everyone dreams of. 

The Perfect Wedding Day Glow Timeline

* Consult a dermatologist for any skin concerns

* Start applying skin care products suited for your neck and decolletage, always in upwards and circular motions

* Always remember your sunscreen!

* Add retinol-based products to your skin care routine (25+)

* Engage in stress-free activities, like meditation and breathing exercises

* Start getting facials and exfoliating treatments every six weeks

* Get into an excising routine and remember to stick with it! Even if your goal isn't to lose weight excising is good for you in general

* Make sure to stay hydrated every day! You got this!

* Fill your diet with fresh fruits and vegetables

* Add brightening products to your skin care routine

* Take some time to pamper yourself with a massage

* Schedule your makeup trial and make sure to ask a ton of questions and note what you don't like

* Select an oil that suits your skin type and is non-comedogenic. Apply it every alternate night and wash it off with a mild cleanser

* If you are going to get a spray tan, make sure to do a trial run!

* Start whitening your teeth for the perfect pearly smile

12+ months before

* Remember to exfoliate your skin and use a serum that has hyaluronic acid in it. This helps retain moisture.

* Finally, make sure you get the sleep you need!

* Book your last waxing appointment to avoid any redness or irritation right before the wedding

* Schedule your last spray tan

* Get your Mani Pedi done! Even if you can do it yourself, go pamper yourself, you deserve it!

* Eat healthy, consume food that is rich in folic calcium, protein and essential omega fatty acids

* Scalp massaging improves blood flow and strengthens hair follicles. Use a massaging tool or simply use your hands to massage your scalp and hair after applying a nourishing hair oil 

* Limit heat styling tools you use. If you have to use them, make sure to use a good heat protectant

* Make sure to get regular trims to get off the split ends!

* Avoid using tight hair ties. Never put your hair up wet!

* Use mild, sulphate free shampoos to avoid loss of natural oils

* Condition your hair regularly to prevent breakage

* Try to reduce your stress! High stress levels can contribute to hair loss. Try some yoga!

* Adding supplements into your routine will help the health of your hair. Try Biotin or Collagen 

* Taking Vitamin C will help your hair stay healthy

* Brush your hair before washing it to get rid of tangles. When brushing your hair, brush from ends to roots to avoid damage.

* Schedule your hair trial, and make sure to ask questions before specifically for your hair type and what your looking for

* Start rinsing your hair in cool water to close the hair follicles

* If you plan on getting your hair colored set up enough time in case your stylist needs to fix anything!

* Use an at home deep conditioner every other week

* Order veil weights, trust us!

* Make a color plan with your stylist

* Make sure to be extra careful with your hair this week.

* Make sure to chat with your stylist about the best game plan for when to wash your hair for the last time

* Add in to your emergency bag extra hairspray for touchups!
